Shipping & Delivery Policy

We deliver fresh sweets, cakes and bakes from our shop at 42/2, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Road, Kolkata – 700040, West Bengal. Because our products are perishable, we deliver locally only and do not courier or ship outside our delivery area.

1. Delivery area

We currently deliver within Kolkata. Enter your PIN code on any product page or at checkout to check whether we deliver to you. If an address falls outside our area for practical reasons (distance, access or traffic restrictions), we will call you before accepting the order, and refund any payment if we cannot deliver.

2. Delivery charges

3. Notice periods and delivery dates

• Sweets, pastries, bakery items and gift boxes: can be ordered for the same day or any later date, subject to stock and slot availability.
• Cakes: at least 24 hours’ notice.
• Photo, theme and tiered cakes: at least 48 hours’ notice (72 hours for tiered cakes).
• Corporate and bulk orders: at least 72 hours’ notice.

The checkout only lets you choose dates that meet these notice periods. Orders can be scheduled up to 30 days ahead.

4. Time slots

You can choose one of these delivery slots at checkout:

• 10 AM – 1 PM
• 1 PM – 4 PM
• 4 PM – 7 PM
• 7 PM – 9 PM

Your slot is confirmed when we accept your order. We do our best to deliver within the slot, but we cannot guarantee an exact time — traffic, weather, festival crowds and road closures in Kolkata can cause delays. We will call you if we expect to be late. Same-day slots may fill up quickly during festivals.

5. Receiving your order

• Please keep your phone reachable and make sure someone is available at the address during the slot.
• Our delivery person will call when they arrive and wait for up to 15 minutes. If we cannot reach anyone, the order will be brought back to the shop and we will try to contact you to arrange a re-delivery the same day. A second delivery may carry an extra delivery charge.
• Perishable items cannot be held over to another day. Orders that cannot be delivered because the recipient was unavailable are not refundable.
• Cakes should be carried flat and refrigerated as soon as possible after delivery.

6. Incorrect or incomplete addresses

Please check your address, landmark and PIN code carefully. If you need to change the address, contact us before the order is dispatched. We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by an incorrect or incomplete address, and a re-delivery to a corrected address may carry an extra charge.

7. Perishable products

Fresh cream cakes, chhena sweets, mishti doi and rasmalai must be refrigerated and eaten within the time shown on each product page. Once an order has been handed over, we cannot be responsible for how it is stored or transported further.

8. Delays outside our control

Deliveries may be delayed or rescheduled because of heavy rain, flooding, strikes, bandhs, government restrictions or similar events. If this happens, we will contact you to reschedule or, if you prefer, refund the order.
